The European Bureau for Conservation and Development (EBCD) is a non-profit, non-governmental organisation established in 1989 to promote the sustainable use and conservation of natural resources through science-based policy dialogues and partnerships, specializing in maritime affairs, fisheries, aquaculture and oceans governance. By bridging policy, science and stakeholder dialogue, EBCD promotes approaches that sustain healthy ecosystems while supporting livelihoods and equitable resource use, aiming to build solutions that work both for people and planet.
